About

Carlisle Brothers was founded by brothers Terry and Robert Carlisle in 1954. Operating as Precision Engineers in a small premises in Beeston for a number of years, we moved to our present site in Long Eaton over 40 years ago. This gave us a working area of 12,000 sq ft which was divided between the Engineering and Industrial Heat Treatment departments.

CBS has grown extensively since its founding, employing more than 20 people, many of whom have been with us in excess of 25 years. This ensures we have an exceptionally high standard of expertise and knowledge to enable us to advise and offer our customers the best service in our field.

Our customer base reaches all over the UK and to parts of Europe, and we have had the privilege of working on many exciting projects, with orders being brough back to us again and again.. We also offer a delivery and collection service within a sixty mile radius subject to availability, for your convenience.

We achieved BS5750 registration in February 1990 and have continuously maintained the Quality Standard to the present ISO 9001:2015. Our most recent assessment was in September 2024, in which we were accredited for another 4 years.
